Through rigorous military training, we forge character, harden resolve, and cultivate the values of environmental stewardship, cultural awareness, and global citizenship. We are dedicated to cultivating leaders with integrity, discipline, and the knowledge and skills to serve effectively in their nation's armed forces. The Academy emphasizes operational readiness, tradition, and service, inspiring cadets to lead with courage and act with purpose in every arena.

Our Heritage

An Institution of Excellence

Founded in 2025 by Royal Charter, the Academy was established to provide the realm with a unified officer training institution capable of producing leaders of the highest calibre.

The mission of the Royal Westarctican Military Academy is to train and commission officers, sailors, soldiers, and airmen who are disciplined, resilient, and fully mission-ready. We demand the highest standards of leadership, tactical excellence, and professional conduct while instilling an unwavering commitment to defend one of Earth’s most fragile frontiers the Western Antarctic Ice Sheets as well as Westarctica’s mission, culture, citizens, and environment.

Guided by our motto, “Fortitudo in Glacie” Strength in Ice we prepare our graduates to uphold the sovereignty and ideals of Westarctica with honour, courage, and unyielding dedication to duty.

Admiral Archduke Arthur

Admiral Archduke Arthur

Guest Lecturer (Navy Section)

Archduke Arthur I of the Parliamentary Monarchy of Duckionary has been an Admiral of the Archdical Navy of Duckionary since 2022 and holds military titles in Obscurium, Dracul and Karnia-Ruthenia. In February 2024 Consul Acaaii of Obscurium, Zar Antonov of Obscurium and de Tourneau himself founded the Obscuro-Duckonian Helgi Hallvarðsson Naval Academy, in order to fill the void left by the dissolution of the Molossian Naval Academy. This academy opened its doors for the first students in March 2025. As a holder of a sailing licence for several European waters, de Tourneau is a fan of boating and water sports, which is also reflected in his frequent naval missions in Germany, Austria and Czechia.

General Ordan B. Brizendine

General Ordan B. Brizendine

General Ordan B. Brizendine currently serves as Chief of the General Staff and Minister of War for the Empire of Karnia-Ruthenia, positions he has held since 2023. In 2011 he founded the Delveran Armed Services in the Grand Republic of Delvera, establishing regular training exercises and shaping the organization into a functioning micronational military force. Following Delvera's integration into Karnia-Ruthenia in 2021, he was appointed to the Imperial General Staff, where he has worked on reforms to force structure, training standards, uniforms, awards systems, and the broader role of a military within micronational states. He graduated from Dracul's Prezan Military Academy in 2023. Macronationally, Brizendine enlisted in the United States Army in 2021 and graduated Officer Candidate School in 2023. He currently serves as a Logistics Officer in the National Guard and participates in military funeral honors through the Honor Guard. His interests include land navigation, military history, uniforms, awards systems, and firearms, areas which inform his instruction at the Academy.

Admiral Zar Antonov

Admiral Zar Antonov

Guest Lecturer (Navy Section)

President Zar Antonov of the United Republic of Obscurium has been an Admiral and Commander of the Red Trident of Obscurity since 2019 and a Marshall of Obscurium since 2025. He has conducted and participated in several naval expeditions, mostly utilizing inflatable vessels. Most recently, he has been developing and experimenting with methods of photography while on such missions and has also introduced remotely controlled vessels with video equipment into the Red Trident. In 2025 Achduke Arthur I. of Duckionary, Consul Acaaii of Obscurium and Antonov himself opened the Obscuro-Duckonian Helgi Hallvarðsson Naval Academy, in order to fill the void left by the dissolution of the Molossian Naval Academy. As a student of history, Antonov has been managing the courses on history at the academy and has also been responsible for the upkeep of the website, the managing of forms and exams and for the design and creation of physical and digital certificates and medals.
