RWNavy Lifeboat
The Royal Westarctican Navy Lifeboat Unit has now commenced regular patrol operations at Gladhouse Reservoir, establishing a consistent and visible safety presence across the area. Operating as a dedicated water safety team and inshore rescue unit, the team delivers essential public services including first aid support, hydration stations, and the deployment of a rescue RIB for rapid response on the water.
ACADEMY NEWS – NAVY ENLISTED MILESTONE
The Royal Westarctican Military Academy records the successful graduation of Thomas Marek, Duke of Gutenko, marking a key milestone in the development of its naval training programme. Marek passed out as a Chief Petty Officer of the Royal Westarctican Navy, becoming the first non-commissioned naval rating to graduate from the Academy. He achieved 100% on both assessments, establishing a benchmark standard for enlisted training within the Academy. This milestone formally recognises the inclusion and progression of enlisted ranks within the Academy framework.
ACADEMY NEWS – AIR FORCE MILESTONE
The Royal Westarctican Military Academy is pleased to record a significant milestone in the development of its Air Force training pathway. Sean Austin has become the first Air Force cadet to successfully commission through the Academy, passing out as Chief Warrant Officer and assuming the role of Security Flight Leader. This marks the formal establishment of the Air Force track within the Academy structure, supported by newly integrated instructional modules and assessment frameworks. Chief Warrant Officer Austin’s commissioning sets the initial standard for all future Air Force cadets.
